The Invitation of Meditation

Meditation can happen many ways - guided meditation, vipassana meditation, embodied meditation, following the breath, noticing the thoughts.  All of this serves beautifully.  It can relax the mind and nervous system, it can lead to a sense of groundedness, it can cleanse and heal, it can lead to deep insights.

And finally true meditation is stopping all of that - all effort, all technique.  Deep resting as peace.  No effort at all. No doing, no doer. Open as the pure essence of who you are. Resting as the silence within.

When you are in meditation you do not need to look after yourself.

A power will rise which is moving the earth, which is causing the sun to shine, which is giving the moon its brilliance…

If you are attuned to that power you will have nothing to do, everything will be beautiful.

That power will look after you in a way which you cannot manage.
